Hello Sean K, Thank you for contacting Infragistics Community. I have tested the fix for the original issue in 2012 vol2 and everything works ok for me. Since you have a slightly different scenario, the MessageBox might have something to do with that behavior. Could you please comment the code that shows that MessageBox and verify if the same exception
